🌊 A massive new surf lagoon is nearing completion in Fellsmere! The Point Surf Park will offer year-round, on-demand waves ranging from beginner-friendly 1-foot waves to larger barreling waves. 🏄♂️
💰 The privately funded project is valued at more than $40 million and is expected to feature shops, a spa and free surf lessons for underprivileged children. The City of Fellsmere estimates it could bring about $12 million to the area.
📍 Located near I-95, the surf park is expected to serve 15 to 60 surfers per hour. The Point Surf Park is scheduled to open in January.
