🌊 Port St. Lucie is bringing a brand-new inclusive playground to River Place Park! 🛝 Designed with a river theme inspired by local marine life and waterways, the project is focused on creating a welcoming, accessible place where every child can play, explore and connect with nature. 💙
🐢 The playground is funded through the City’s FY 2025-26 Capital Improvement Program and CDBG support, with designs completed and a contractor already selected. It will feature age-appropriate play areas for children ages 2-5 and 5-12, along with inclusive equipment so kids of all abilities can play together. 🌴☀️
🌞 To help families enjoy the park year-round, strategically placed shade structures will provide added comfort and protection from the Florida heat. Construction is already underway, with completion anticipated by September, marking the beginning of a new chapter for River Place Park. 🚧🎉
