🏆 Port St. Lucie’s Public Works Department has reached an incredible milestone, earning 25 consecutive years of accreditation from the American Public Works Association (APWA). During its 2026 reaccreditation review, the department also achieved a perfect 100% compliance score, a distinction few public works agencies earn. 🛣️👏
🚧 As the first public works agency in Florida to receive APWA accreditation, Port St. Lucie has spent 25 years focused on continuous improvement. The department maintains more than 900 miles of roads, 250+ miles of sidewalks, approximately 200 miles of canals, and a vast stormwater system while helping support one of the nation’s fastest-growing cities. 🌴🌧️
