🌳 Port St. Lucie made a big move for nature a few months ago! The city purchased nearly 105 acres of land between I-95 and Rosser Blvd that was once planned for homes. This $2.5 M acquisition ensures the space will stay green and natural for future generations.
🚶♂️ Plans for the preserve include walking trails, fishing spots, pavilions and a fishing pier to enjoy outdoor fun. The City also created the Naturally PSL Community Trust to help protect and expand green spaces across the area. Residents spoke up and city leaders listened — prioritizing parks and nature over development.
