🚴♂️ Port St. Lucie is building what the city says will be the world’s first fully concrete, adaptive BMX track at the new Tradition Regional Park. Construction began last fall, and the project is expected to be completed by summer 2026. City leaders say the track’s ramps and turns were designed by computer, creating a unique riding experience.
🛹 The track is designed for anything on wheels, not just BMX bikes. Riders will be able to use skateboards, scooters, and even three-wheeled recumbent bikes, making the facility more inclusive for different types of riders. Officials say the goal is to create something accessible to more people instead of just one group of athletes.
🌎 The facility will also be open to the public and include a learning center where young riders can learn road safety. The city recently reached an agreement with USA BMX, which could allow the track to host sanctioned BMX events and attract visitors from around the state, country, and even internationally.
