🏗️ Port St. Lucie City Council approved rezoning for the approximately 33-acre Riverland-West Sports & Recreation property. The site is located south of SW Discovery Way and east of SW Sundance Vista Boulevard.
🏓 The rezoning changes the property from St. Lucie County Agricultural zoning to a master planned unit development. It could allow up to 135,000 square feet of indoor recreation space, commercial uses and outdoor RV and boat storage for Riverland residents.
💡 Valencia Grove residents raised concerns about noise, lighting and outdoor pickleball courts. Revised protections include a 225-foot setback for outdoor pickleball courts, noise-mitigation measures and limits on court-light height.
